For the purpose of the Terms of Letting
Mill Farm shall mean Mill Farm and Visitor shall mean the person named
in the booking form.
Deposit:
A booking for a property becomes firm when a 50% deposit* of the booking, together
with a security deposit (held against breakages) and a completed booking
form are received by Mill Farm.
Up to that time it is a provisional booking and provisional bookings
are held for a maximum of 7 days.
Final Payment:
The full balance of the total holiday cost is payable not later than
six weeks before the holiday begins.
If the full balance is not paid on time, Mill Farm reserves the right
to cancel the holiday booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation:
The reservation of a property amounts to making a contract. We advise
that you should take out separate holiday cancellation insurance. The
deposit is non-refundable and so to is the final payment if cancellation
is within 8 weeks. Many
good credit card issuers will also provide you with complimentary travel
insurance as part of their customer benefits.
Visitor Accommodation Limitation:
Accommodation is limited to the number of persons for whom the booking
is made; the maximum number must not exceed the number stated on the
website. The client may have supplementary guests staying as visitors
but should advise the likelihood of this to us in advance and the numbers
must not exceed the occupancy limit for the property as stipulated on
the website.
Joint bookings: Where two parties join forces to take a holiday, the
booking should be made in one name only, that person (the visitor) is
to be responsible for all payments and any damage.
Personal injury and loss of visitor property: The visitor or members
of his/her party cannot hold Mill Farm responsible for injury sustained
or the loss or damage to any belongings during their stay at any one
of the properties.
Mill Farm right of entry:
Mill Farm and or its agents reserve the right to enter any cottage at any responsible time on reasonable cause.
Visitor Obligations:
The visitor understands to keep the premises and all the furniture,
fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at
the commencement of the booking period (reasonable wear and tear excepted)
and shall pay to Mill Farm the value of any part of the premises, furniture,
fixtures, fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as they be incapable
of being restored to its previous condition. Breakages and damage should
be reported as soon as possible.
Should there be any discrepancy in the service provided within the property
this should be intimated immediately to Mill Farm whereupon Mill Farm
will attempt to broker a satisfactory outcome.
The Contract will be entered into when Mill Farm issues booking
confirmation. Any subsequent booking (s) at the same property by
existing customers with Mill Farm will be deemed binding under the original
terms and conditions agreed to and will subsequently be rolled over.

The visitor and members of his/her party are asked to leave the accommodation
clean and tidy. Mill Farm reserve the right to make a charge for extra
cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition.
