Unique Tiny House for Four

Welcome to Walnut Lodge, a craftsman-built Tiny House. Sleeping four guests, our double mezzanine lofts provide a cosy retreat after a day of fishing or relaxing in your private hot tub. The open layout and modern amenities  make it a perfect secret escape.

The Lounge: Walnut lodge features an open plan layout that has been carefully crafted for complete comfort. As you open up the door to your lodge, you’ll be welcomed into a lounge area that boasts a beautiful corner sofa that has style and substance. The lounge area is complete with a flat screen TV (freeview) with integrated DVD. There is also an integrated sound system which allows you to connect your blue-tooth enabled devices to listen to your favourite music.

The Kitchen: Moving past the lounge area, you’ll then step into the kitchen area – where you’ll discover all that you would expect of a cosy Tiny House, including a dining table & 4 chairs, oven & hob, Fridge/freezer, microwave and a comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery and utensils.

The Sleeping Lofts: Once the kitchen has been explored, here’s where things get a little different! Walnut Lodge has a twin mezzanine sleeping area each accessed by a beautifully carved Tiny House ladder where only the highest of standards is apparent. With a king size sleeping, superior quality linen, and a flat screen TV in each loft.

The Bathroom: For days of adventures that lie ahead, guests of our tiny house can look forward to a sure start with a large walk-in shower, Matching the same contemporary, understated style as the rest of the lodge, the bathroom boasts a modern basin backed by a large handcrafted oak mirror, WC & heated towel radiator.

Outside Living: Lodge holidaying should still very much be defined by nature, and being able to savour the outside as much as the in.

For this reason your outside areas almost equate to the same beautiful space as inside – featuring a large decked terrace with your very own hot tub and a spacious garden surrounded by mature trees and hedging. Your outdoor area is completed with seating and a charcoal BBQ for enjoying alfresco meals following a soothing dip in the hot tub.

During your stay you will have use of our onsite fishing lake which is located only 20 metres from your lodge. We guarantee one fishing peg per cottage/lodge. However, please note that additional pegs are limited and may not always be available if multiple members of your party wish to fish.

Walnut Lodge currently does not have Wi-Fi availability. We advise that if you do require internet access during your stay that you bring your own 4g enabled device.

Please note – Due to the sleeping lofts, Walnut lodge is not suitable for guests with mobility issues or very young children who may have difficulty with the ladder access & height restriction.

Please note that Walnut Lodge is NOT Dog-Friendly.

*Under no circumstances are you permitted to charge your electric vehicles (EV) from our lodges or cottages. Our nearest EV charging point is located at the Old Leake Co Op which is 3.4 miles away.
